The General Assembly of the Téthys network, organised by Aix-Marseille University in collaboration with the University La Sapienza in Rome (Italy), is an important annual event in the life of the network that brings together the presidents, rectors and representatives of member universities of the network.
The University of Malta will host the annual conference and board of directors of the Consortium of Euro-Mediterranean Universities TÉTHYS on 11 and 12 April 2018.
This year's annual conference will be dedicated to sustainable development and its impact on Mediterranean societies with two themes: 1) Sustainable development, a social issue. Water, climate change and Mediterranean societies. 2) Universities and territories facing the challenges of sustainable development.
The University of Nicosia, Cyprus, hosted on March, the 9th, 2017, the annual Conference and the governing board of TÉTHYS Euro-Mediterranean universities Consortium.
This meeting gathered 35 University Presidents, Vice-Presidents and officials coming from 14 different countries: Algeria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco and Spain.
The Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education project EuNIT was officially launched on the 30th and 31st January, 2017 at the Villa Valmer, Marseilles, France. This was an opportunity for all project partners to come together to discuss and exchange about the project activities and their implementation.

The University of Cádiz hosted the Annual Conference and Governing Board of the Euro-Mediterranean Universities Network TETHYS.
Presidents and Vice-Presidents from universities of countries across the Mediterranean – Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Territory, Spain, Tunisia – came together to exchange about the future for the Internationalisation of Euro-Mediterranean Universities. Guest speakers from German, Finnish and Dutch universities also participated in the conference to discuss curriculum development.

La réunion annuelle du Consortium s’est tenue les 1er et 2 avril 2015 à l’Association des Universités Arabes, Amman, Jordanie à l’invitation de Monsieur le Président Sultan Orabi.
Les 11 et 12 mars derniers s’est tenu à Marseille un colloque thématique dans le cadre du projet IEVP PAPS-ESRS Algérie: Programme d’Appui à la Politique Sectorielle de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique en Algérie.

Les 10 et 11 Avril 2014 s’est tenue la quinzième édition du Conseil d’Administration du Réseau Téthys à l’Université de Palerme.
Après l’ouverture de la réunion par le Recteur de l’Université de Palerme, le Professeur Roberto Lagalla, et par le Président du Consortium, le Professeur Pierre Fuentes, les travaux ont commencé sous la direction du Chargé de Mission du Recteur pour les Relations Internationales de Palerme, le Professeur Pasquale Assennato, et du Président d’Honneur du Consortium, le Professeur Michel Kasbarian, qui en ont été les modérateurs.
Le colloque International sur la Réforme LMD dans les universités euro-méditerranéennes a eu l'immense honneur d'être placé sous le Patronage du Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique de Tunisie, avec la présence de Monsieur le Ministre, Moncef BEN SALEM, lequel a prononcé une allocation de bienvenue aux 150 participants.
Plusieurs partenaires du réseau TETHYS, représentant 6 pays euro-méditerranéens, ont participé à ce colloque.
