The first Téthys doctoral workshop, in partnership with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, was held in Madrid, with over 40 doctoral students from various TETHYS partner universities in attendance. 10 experts were also on hand to supervise the work of the young researchers.

The PhD students jointly drew up a policy paper on the theme "What can Mediterranean universities do to tackle climate change?" and had the opportunity to share their joint thoughts with the presidents and vice-presidents of the network's universities at a working session organized during the TETHYS general assembly in MADRID. A successful first doctoral workshop that will be repeated in 2025!
