Philosophy and objectives

The RESUME program is a Key Action 2 “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education” project. It responds to the priority actions established by the EC, OECD and EFT report, particularly the strengthening of the relationships between Higher Education and the wider social and economic environment.

It aims at developing employability in Mediterranean countries by enhancing and strengthening the Higher Education Institutions contribution to the modernisation of education, training and vocational guidance thanks to the support of the necessary tools and training. Indeed, as the region is not very economically integrated, RESUME is based on the cooperation between the Higher Education Institutions, businesses and the political decision-makers in order to embed an entrepreneurial spirit within Higher Education Institutions. In this way, training, activities, the practical application of best practices and pilot projects will be implemented in order to directly and sustainably impact Higher Education in the countries concerned and in particular the HEIs involved in the project and their students.
