The Téthys Network's General Assembly will be held on November 24 and 25, 2026, in Barcelona, at the Palau de Pedralbes, headquarters ofthe Union for the Mediterranean (UfM).
The first day will be divided into two sessions. The morning will be devoted to opening remarks, a review of the network’s activities, approval of the minutes of the 2025 Board of Directors meeting, and the introduction of new members. The afternoon will highlight the network’s projects, followed by the closing conference, “Women Leading Change.”
The day will continue with the launch of the UfM’s Regional Platform on Women’s Empowerment. This session will include the presentation of the Gender Equality Monitoring Report, a roundtable discussion, and the awarding of the “Women Leading Change” Prize and the Euro-Mediterranean Prize for Women Journalists. A cocktail reception will conclude the day.
The second day will take place atthe University of Barcelona, featuring a tour of its historic building.
